well, im bored in college so ill write my report of the day.
after abit of college and a hour waiting, we finally head off to get the train to bournemouth, that went pretty slow and boring, we finally arrived in Bournemouth at around 3.30 and went for a walk around town and to get some food. KFC in Bournemouth was poor, im never going there again.
anyways we head off to the venue to find no-one there, it was pretty cold so we stood inside the venue bit and saw the SO lads, i had to shout Hi to jonny. Luke came out afew minutes later and we had a little chat with him before he had to return inside. Jack and his friend turned up and we were told to get out of the venue whilst InMe soundchecked, that was abit gay but we headed to Subway for some munch and a cuppa...and a freee cookie which was cool.
we returned to the venue across the road and people started to arrive, we got afew drinks in and then got told we had to get rid of them, haha trying to sell them was funny. had a quick chat with simon, jonny, pete etc and then Mar and Georgie arrived, had a little chat with them which was nice. we went in and we were all up against the barrier.
DFAD are a pretty good band in the studio and i had seem them the week before, they were very good and i got a shout out from the bassist/lead singer because i was singing there songs.
cue Save Ourselves, to be honest, i do like their newer stuff but it seems abit mellow so i was very very suprised at how they perform these songs live, so much energy not only on stage but also in the crowd, the new song "the undertakers daughter" is awesome and a great song to open with.
the crowd were pretty loud at singing the songs back at the band which made it all that special for them/us and Luke let me scream/sing into his mic during Fail and Fall. this set was finished off with White Room and i was able to get a setlist yay.
InMe came on, it wasnt there best performance but still, was pretty good got a shout out from Dave [lead singer] and a setlist, the crowd were fantastic and so energetic, the figure of 8 pit was insane lol.
was a good night, best and favourite time i have seen the lads perform, well done to them!
